Xu Zhimo(1897-1931) is a famous New Moon School poet, proser and translator. He in his early years was taught by Lian Rengong. Later he went to other countries in Europe and America where he was influenced by idealism and aesthetic poems. Trough all his life, Xu advocated new peotical meter,and pursued love, beauty and freedom, which contributed a lot to the development of modern new poetry in China.
