This is an essay collection of Wang Xiaobo, mainly touching upon his views on lifestyle, films and other media as well as his thinking over what he saw and heard overseas. Starting with the trivia around him, Wang displays to us an ideal mental homeland with his incisive perspective, which strikes us like a lightning. We roam in this mental homeland, feel his sincerity with thinking, with himself and with writing, and appreciate his philosophical stature, deep humanist concern, and unadorned magnanimous rationalism.
