This is a monograph on the economic history of southern Siberia, the region of the River Tom and the Altai Mountains, in the 19th-early 20th centuries and particularly on economic fairs. The author collected a large amount of information about Siberian fairs, their distribution, specialties, connections with fairs in the central part of Russia, legal forms of transactions, their role in development of the Siberian economy and government regulations and support of fairs.
