The book is divided into two parts. Part One describes that the first wife of Hui Junfu, an old writer, was a thief, the second wife a madwoman and the third a bitch, and his three marriages failed and he was betrayed by his lover. So Hui Junfu believed that all his misfortunate arose from his ugliness and he wanted to draw support from a handsome young man You Yi to take revenge on ladies. In Part Two, the young man You Yi tried to get rid of Hui Junfu to explore a way to construct the reality. Hui Junfus plan of making use of You Yi to avenge ladies failed. Kyoko, Mrs. Kaburagi and other were avenged with tragic ending. Hui Junfu committed suicide, but You Yi started his real and existing new life.
