Prince Igor' Sviatoslavovich Novgorod-Severskii (1151- 1201) went down in history thanks to only one event, his failed march against the Polovets in 1185. He and other four other Russian princes were captured. The story of this march became a plot of Russian classics - The Song of Igor's Campaign.
