To win the heart of her husband back, Su Sui, a talented lady in the former Qin dynasty, used silk thread of five colors to sew a words matrix of 840 Chinese characters on an 8 cun brocade. From above to below, left to right, inside to outside and every angle, it can connect to be a poem, named as Xuanji map. In the Tang dynasty, Empress Wu Zutian wrote a preface Brocade Palindrome, making Xuanji map even more popular. However, this piece of embroidery representing beautiful love put the harem of the Tang dynasty into crises.
