This monograph compares "The Song of Igor's Campaign" and Christian hymnography based on an innovative textological method. The author applies the method of intonation-rhythmic and semantic characteristics of Christian hymnography to analysis of "The Song" which helps to find new lexical and semantic characteristics of the text and allows the author to make new comments.
