1975 is the 15th anniversary of the outbreak of the Vietnam War, and the 2nd anniversary of the signing of Paris Peace Accords, and as everyone thought that the North Vietnam and the South Vietnam were shifting from armed struggle for many years onto the track of peaceful economic construction, the Vietnam People's Army unexpectedly launched a spring attack. From the fall of Phuoc Long, to the fall of Ban Me Thout, the whole southern Vietnam's situation was reversed, and the north seized the moment and dispatched troops to the south at a stroke, and eventually captured Saigon.
