Philippine architecture during the pre-Spanish and Spanish periods

The book was written in the Filipino architecture students in mind. Although several books have already been written about Filipino architecture, they were not written for easy reading and comprehension by the students. This book is the first of two parts dealing with the study of Filipino architecture. It focuses on the architecture of the Pre-Spanish and Spanish periods. The moulding of the Filipino youth is shared by the school. Here, the students are academically prepared not only to become professionals in their chosen careers but also to become useful citizens of their country. The teachings being imparted in the youth prepare them for adult life and eventually as members of the Filipino society. Constituents of the academe in the field of Architecture have the solemn obligation to impart to them the importance of their architectural heritage. This book will help them identify the Filipino architectural legacies.
