Flying Carpet (Hardcover) was Xixi's representative novel that recieved Sin Chew Daily World Chinese Literature Prize in 2005. The book connected in lines by the rise and fall of Hua family, matching with the writing style of magic realism and realistic fairy tale, to describe Hong Kong's hundred years of conventional life history. The book is like Hong Kong's One Hundred Years of Solitude in the 20th century Hong Kong used an assumed name 'Feitu Town' as if Macondo in Marquez. 'Feitu Town' appeared in Xixi's different works and was one of representative images in Xixi's creation. 'Flying Carpet' has made the most comprehensive and magnificent description to this image. 'Feitu Town' was Hong Kong, and Julong Country was Chinese mainland; through this book we could not only perceive the creation center of Xixi, but also acknowledge Hong Kong's ups and downs for a century.
