三十三年梦

When I was in my early thirties, I was burdened with worries, was thinking about the novel of my creation and thought as if my life had come to the end. Now looking back, I see I was so young. And I see Tang Nuo leaning over to talk with big-head sister while holding her daughter's hand, Tian Wen at the age of 22 wearing a long coat and two braids reaching her chest who just entered the society, grandpa Hu Lancheng, the corner of whose gown raised for walking fast, my parents in their prime years, Xiao Weizheng, my friend at that time, the family I loved most and Meng Meng in a baby carriage who had no words and smile. I clearly remember their appearances and laughter. Since I first came to Kyoto in 1979, the cherry blossom has bloomed 33 times.
